Recyclables must be in a container clearly marked RECYCLE or with the Recycle symbol.
- The weight of the cart must not exceed 60 pounds.
- Building materials are not covered under our contract.
- Cardboard boxes must be broken down, cut into 2'x2' squares and bundled.
If you do not have a recycle bin/cart and they are not in 2'x2' squares they will be thrown into the trash truck.
You are not required to purchase carts from Priority Waste. You may use any cart or bin you wish, as long as it is clearly labeled. The Township can provide free recycling stickers for you apply to non Priority Waste carts.
If you are thinking about purchasing a recycling cart, Priority Waste offers to residents a cart for $125 and/or a garbage cart for $125 assembled and delivered to your home for a fee of $15. Pickup is an option. This is a one time charge. If you would like to order one or both of these carts please visit the Priority Waste website.
